1. What Our Lifetime Warranty Covers
The RITVA Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. This includes:
- Faulty clasps, bails, or chains not caused by user damage.
- Structural integrity issues (e.g., metal breakage or weakness not resulting from impact or stress).
- Issues with stone settings where the stone is lost due to a demonstrable manufacturing error in the setting work.
If we determine the issue is a manufacturing defect, RITVA will, at its discretion, repair the item or replace it free of charge.
2. What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)
Our Lifetime Warranty is a guarantee against flaws in manufacturing, not against typical damage that occurs through regular use. The warranty does not cover the following:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Including surface scratches, tarnishing, bending, denting, or misshapen items.
- Accidental Damage: Including breakage due to impact, chemical exposure (e.g., pools, cleaning products, lotions), or improper storage.
- Lost or Stolen Items.
- Damage or Loss of Stones: If the loss is due to accidental impact, chipping, or prong damage caused by the customer.
- Work by Third Parties: Any modifications, repairs, or sizing performed by a jeweler other than RITVA voids this warranty.
3. Repair Services & Shipping
Lifetime Warranty Claims (Manufacturing Defects)
- Assessment: All warranty claims require a physical inspection by the RITVA technical team.
- Shipping Cost: The customer must bear the cost of two-way shipping (to RITVA for assessment and back to the customer after repair/replacement).
- Duration: The original 6-month limited repair warranty covers manufacturing defects. If a defect appears after 6 months and is determined to be structural or manufacturing-related, the Lifetime Warranty applies.
Non-Warranty Repairs (Wear and Tear)
For damages that are excluded from the Lifetime Warranty (e.g., tarnishing, accidental breakage, wear and tear), we are still happy to assist:
- Service Offered: RITVA offers repair services for these items.
- Repair Fee: These services are provided for a nominal repair fee, which will be quoted to the customer after our team assesses the damage.
- Shipping Cost: The customer must bear the cost of two-way shipping for all paid, non-warranty repairs.
4. Initiating a Warranty Claim

- Assessment: Our team will review your claim and provide instructions for shipping the item to our headquarters for physical assessment.
- Resolution: We will notify you of the final warranty determination (repair, replacement, or quoted fee for non-warranty repair) before any work is commenced.
